Half of the teachers up to 8th in the state do not know about computer
Latest Updated 26/06/2023: Computer training will be given to 2 lakh 75 thousand 266 teachers of the state. The education department has entrusted this authority to SCERT (State Council of Educational Research and Training). In fact, about 53% of the teachers up to class VIII are not aware of computers. Such teachers have been identified by SCERT. Now preparations are on to give computer training to these teachers. According to SCERT, 2 lakh 75 thousand 266 teachers are working till eighth grade. Of these, one lakh 46 thousand 546 teachers are such, who do not even know how to operate a computer. Now all these teachers will be trained. Remaining teachers will also be given full computer training. It has been decided to provide training on the orders of KK Pathak, Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department. Computer training is mandatory for all types of teachers working in all levels of schools from 1st to 12th in the state.
Let us tell you that under ICT (Information and Technology) ten computers each have been installed in the school up to class VIII. Under this, computer education is to be given to all the students of the school. In the first phase, under this, computers have been installed in 19 thousand middle schools. At present, the help of an agency is taken for imparting computer education to the children.
More and more students will be registered on the career portal A large number of school boys and girls are not able to register on the career portal due to school teachers not being able to operate computers. The teachers of the school have to register the students on the career portal and they also have to give information about various careers by visiting the portal. If teachers are computer savvy then more and more children will be registered. Apart from this, the help of computer-savvy teachers can also be taken in running smart classes under the Upgradation Scheme.

Teachers will get training in different groups
A group of teachers will be formed by SCERT to impart computer training. 80 to 90 teachers will be included in a group. After this they will be given computer training. Explain that due to lack of knowledge of computers by teachers, students are not able to get regular computer education. Apart from this, many types of school work are also hindered.
